Welcome
to
Leitax, this is
our Rokkor 58/1.2 to Canon EOS page.
I saw in Internet several conversions of this lens using M42 to Canon adapters or donor mounts from other lenses and irreversible surgery. So decided to make a mount that will allow tho use this extraordinary lens very easily and without any damage.
It is only necessary to remove four screws and exchange the mounts, just one minute work.
I did another improvement over the normal adapters: ours is covering the internals of the lens with a flat black painted rim. No reflexions inside the camera means no flares.
There is a convenient flat surface in our mount to glue an electronic chip if desired. This chip will enable the focus confirmation light in the viewfinder.
Your Canon camera can meter and adjust the correct exposure in A and M modes with adapted Rokkor lenses.
The Rokkor 58/1.2 lenses will focus to infinity and will maintain the aperture click stops.
Caution! The Rokkor 58/1.2 will hit the mirror of a Canon full frame camera at
infinity, but it is possible to avoid this and achieve infinity focus at
close apertures shaving the lens rear glass housing.

The Leitax mount for Canon fits perfectly in place of the original mount.
Please take a look at these instructions
- This mount can be used to convert the Rokkor 58/1.4 lens without irreversible surgery too.

- Our mount will trigger the AF lever of the Canon 1D series cameras, and, after this happens, the camera needs to install a chip on the Leitax bayonet to work at all. If you wish to use these cameras without a chip, let me know. I will make a special version for you. |
You can order the Rokkor-Canon bayonet here:
- Due to strict security, the postal service to the US can take several weeks, US customers please consider the UPS option.

| But, if you want the best, I can offer now the OP/TECH
USA cap. -It has a rubber O-Ring that seals the lens from dust and moisture. -The O-ring also forms tight friction, it will avoid losing the cap. -It covers the entire bayonet diameter, providing more protection against blows and scratches. |

I use this model for all the Phillips screws in the Nikon lenses, it is industrial grade quality made by Irazola, and the design is very good, you can push and turn it firmly with the rotary end and the rubber finish. |
