This unit is a ROM model, but it still has the second white metal cam. |

First, unscrew the black shroud screws |

Now lift this side of the shroud with the plastic tool. |

Now we can unscrew the original bayonet. |

Find the small bearing ball and save it for now.. |

In case your Elmarit ROM has also a bright metal sloped cam, it must be removed. |

Now we can replace the small bearing ball and don't forget to grease it. |
